Dear Parents,
We’re sure you’ve seen the flyers up all over school, but don’t forget to circle December 18th on your calendar for the LBJA 5th Annual Hanukkah Boutique, headed by your PTO. It’s from 12 PM-4 PM. We are going to have some amazing vendors this year, including those selling artwork, Hanukkah and Judaica items, naturally made skin care products and makeup, hair accessories and hats, handmade jewelry, and much, much more. While you’re shopping for the holiday season, why not make sure your kids’ hair is looking great just in time for pictures by stopping by Nechama Zaks’ table. The very talented hair stylist will be there to give children’s haircuts. There will be entertainment for the kids in addition to delicious concessions and a Chinese auction, with prizes that are worth up to $120.
In order to pull off such a successful event, we need your help. If you haven’t seen already, Elle Nizhnikov, our VP and volunteer coordinator, has sent out a Helping Hands email for parents to sign up as volunteers for the event. We will need a lot of help, including for setup, clean-up, manning concessions stands, and to help with vendor tables. So please sign up and give what time you can. You’ll also have a great time while you help!
