PTO Roundup

Hello Parents,

We’re back for another amazing school year! The PTO has already been hard at work all summer planning events for this year. Last year, we and the students raised over $2,000, and we want to do even better this year. We will be working hard to raise money for things the school needs, such as beautifying the playground, which will be a collaborative project between our PTO and the Learning Center.

We will be bringing back the Class Contest, which was so successful last year, with the kids raising over $1,000 on their own. We can’t wait to see how well they do this year!

We already have our first event coming up this Sunday! We are holding a community yard sale. There will also be delicious refreshments, including popcorn, sno-cones, and beverages. We will also be having a moon bounce for the kids! So come and shop while your kids enjoy themselves outside on the moon bounce and playground!!

There is also still time to reserve a table. If you’ve done your spring and summer cleaning and are looking for a way to make some money on your things, this is a great and convenient way to do that.

We look forward to seeing you there!

And as we go into the new year, we want to stress how important it is to volunteer. The only way we can be successful is for our fellow parents to help us accomplish our goals. Last year, PTO funds helped pay for the school’s digital piano and paid for the new sound system. Your children benefit greatly from our success, so please help us be successful by volunteering a little bit of your time at future events. And volunteering for the PTO goes toward your mandatory 10 hours for the year. So it’s a win-win!

Shabbat Shalom, Shana Tova, and we look forward to another successful year!
