Dear Parents,
Sorry this is a little late. The school year is coming to a close, and this is the last month for the PTO class contest. The kids have been doing such a great job. The 1st grade had their ice cream party on Friday, and they received prizes for reaching the $100 and $200 milestones. We’re really proud of them!
We’re starting off the last month with a strong showing from the 3rd grade. They won the week with a total of $5.62. The 1st grade was close behind them with $5.26. The 2nd grade rounded out the top tree with $0.95. The Kindergarten, 4th and 5th grade classes did not raise anything. It’s a tight race between the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grades, so it’s still anybody’s game.
In other news, we’re so happy to see that new families have joined us during the school year. The PTO periodically sends out emails to all the parents, and we need to update our database. If you are a new parent this year, please email us at PTO@lbja.org and let us know who you are and who your child is. And welcome!
