Dear Parents,
Well, after a low showing last week, the classes really came through this week in a huge way! Thanks to a huge donation from one of our parents to both the 2nd and 4th grades, the students raised over $300 this week! It also catapulted the 2nd grade into the lead for both the month and the year.
In summary, the 2nd grade won the week by raising $151.05. 4th and 5th grade came in second with a total of $150, and 1st grade rounds out the top three having raised $2. 3rd grade raised $1.10, while Kindergarten did not have anything.
I can tell you that when the kids saw the amounts this week, the contest really heated up, with many of the students now vowing to increase their efforts to raise the most money. It was really great to see their healthy competitive spirits shining, and we look forward to what they can do with all that energy.
It’s only due to the parents’ support that the PTO can be successful, so we thank you so much for your contributions.
