Dear Parents,
February is over, and March Madness has begun. The Kindergarten class will be having their ice cream party today after having won February. Because of Spirit Week at school, things were very slow this week for raising money. We didn’t even get $1, but we know that, after all the hoopla dies down, the kids will be back at it.
So this week, the 1st grade won, having brought in $0.65, while the 2nd grade came in second place with $0.02, and the 3rd rounded out the top three with $0.01. All the other classes brought in nothing.
In other news, we were saddened and disappointed that we had to cancel the Purim Mishloach Manot card sale. The kids did an amazing job, highlighted by winning 5 out of the 8 categories in the Washington Jewish Week Purim Art Contest. We’re sorry that our parents will be missing out on getting to share that talent with others.
