Robin Lempert
Robin Lempert has been a math specialist and general studies teacher at a small Jewish day school for 11 years. She was also the media and technology teacher for many years, and has taught 1st grade at a local Synagogue Hebrew School since 2001.
She has developed curriculum for math, language arts, and social studies as well as programs for holidays and all-school activities. Previously, she was the director of two education foundations for non-profit organizations where she taught adult education programs and developed curriculum for more than 20 years.
She received her B.S. from S.U.N.Y. Binghamton with honors, triple-majoring in mathematics, music, and folk communications. She did her graduate work in ethnomusicology at the University of Michigan and has graduated from the Florence Melton Morasha program coordinated by the Hebrew University in Jerusalem and Board of Jewish Education of Washington, D.C. Robin has also attended two years of NSA’s Summer Math Institute. Robin also taught Eastern European dance to kids of all ages for many years.
