Weekly Roundup

Dear Parents,

We’re through our first week back in school after the winter break, and the kids seem eager to get back to things. We also had a great first week back in our class contest. The third grade reached a milestone by being the first class to raise more than $100! What an amazing accomplishment! The third grade will also be getting their ice cream party tomorrow for raising the most money in December.

The third grade also won the first week to kick off January by raising $9.92. The 1st grade came in second by raising $2.51, and Kindergarten rounded out the top 3 by raising $1.02. The 4th and 5th grades together raised $0.26, while the 2nd grade didn’t raise anything. But with a total of $13.71 raised for the first week, the kids are off to a great start in 2017!

We would like to thank the parents and faculty that joined us for our open PTO meeting on Wednesday, the 4th. You had some great suggestions for our upcoming events and feedback from the Chanukah Boutique, and we will be taking your comments and putting them into action for the future.

We look forward to our future events, starting in February with two: a kids movie event and sushi night. So be on the lookout for information about those events, and we look forward to seeing you there.

Shabbat Shalom!
