The White House Tour

4th and 5th Graders

All the students were given a sheet at the end of the day listing the rules for our White House visit.  Hopefully they will make it home.  I will also have copies available Monday night at Parents Night.   For good measure several copies will come home next week.

Sep.14, 2016

#1 The fourth grade will be going IN the White House. The fifth grade will be seeing the Visitors Center and BOTH grades will go to the History Museum for a few hours.

#2 EVERYONE MUST be at the school no later than 6:45 am. Don’t be late. The van will not wait. Students will be given orange t-shirts to wear.

#3 Students who were born OUTSIDE the US OR ARE FOREIGN CITIZENS MUST HAVE A PASSPORT

Just in case, Clara’s mom, Naomi  Feldman, and Sharon Turpie, the class’s science teacher, will be on hand at the White House to bring any children who are not allowed in to join us at the Visitors Center.  I will try to arrange another trip next Spring during a vacation day for anyone who could not get in.  I do not anticipate problems. If you have questions, call me at 609-923-2808
